Firstly we advise rebooting the iPad, this can free up a lot of memory used by other apps and can help reduce the likelihood of occasional crashes.
Secondly DON'T install an update (unless we’ve advised you to) and don’t update iOS on your iPad.
Such changes will almost always be safe to do, however if there are problems lurking on odd occasions, updating app or OS may be the thing that triggers/exposes a problem
We advise that if you have a critical presentation coming up in the next week, then wait until after that to update iOS or the app, unless there is some compelling reason to ignore this advice, for example there is a known defect (bug) that is impacting your app and which needs fixing before your presentation
